J W Smith has been creating stunning stone products for over 25 years. Our master stonemasons in York use their experience with granite, marble, yorkstone, recycled glass and slate to design and manufacture unique, bespoke pieces for your home.

We have the perfect granite for your kitchen worktop and bathroom, or why not choose a stunning quartz kitchen worktop or vanity unit. Our master craftsmen in our York workshop are happy to design and create the perfect piece, which is cut to size by our stonemasons and fitted by our highly skilled fitters.

Fancy something different? Why not look at our unique recycled glass tiles, splashbacks and worktops for your kitchen or bathroom? This environmentally friendly material creates stunning focal points in any room.

Our stone connection is important, which is why all our natural stone is sourced from managed and ethical sites, taking care that we make a minimal impact on the environment, whilst preserving these beautiful natural works of art. Each piece of granite is created by nature over 3 billion years, every piece of marble, granite or slate is unique and comes in an amazing variety of colours – different amounts of quartz and feldspar produce bronze and blue flecks, whilst molten lava produces dark greens and blues.
